Welcome to AfriPiMall International! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our online marketplace, Pi Coin wallet settlement system, merchant portal, and associated mobile/web services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, browsing listings, placing orders, or registering as a merchant on AfriPiMall, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Returns and Refunds Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Pi Network & GCV Valuations
AfriPiMall operates as the premier pan-African online mall supporting transactions settled via the Pi Network ecosystem and dual currency pricing (Pi Coin and fiat equivalents). Prices displayed in Pi Coin are calculated based on transparent exchange rates configured on the platform, supporting the Global Consensus Value (GCV) initiative for community empowerment across African markets.
3. User Accounts & Security
To access certain features such as checkout, order tracking, and Pi Wallet top-ups, you must maintain an active account. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.
4. Vendor Marketplace & Listings
Independent vendors publish listings and fulfill customer orders on AfriPiMall. Merchants agree that:
- All products listed are authentic, accurately described, and in compliance with local consumer protection laws.
- Orders must be dispatched in a timely manner with valid tracking information provided to the buyer.
- AfriPiMall reserves the right to suspend or remove any listing or vendor account that violates anti-fraud guidelines or quality standards.
5. Orders, Payments & Settlement
All payments made on the platform are processed through secure double-entry accounting ledgers. When placing an order, the required amount is deducted from your Pi Wallet or processed via authorized payment gateways (Mobile Money, Card). Funds are escrowed until delivery confirmation to ensure safety for both buyers and merchants.
